Del Makes Room for Her Son
When Del gave birth to a baby boy, she made a vow that she would lose weight and live for her son. And when he was 5 years old, she underwent surgery with the Sarasota Memorial Bariatric and Metabolic Health Center. Two years later, she has a confidence she never knew before and more than enough energy to keep up with the rambunctious 7 year old that inspired her to reclaim her life—and to be an inspiration herself.
Joe Makes Room for a New Chapter
Riding his motorcycle, everyone knew Joe better as “Big Dog.” But obesity comes with a heavy cost, and at age 56, Big Dog was running out of road, a borderline diabetic with high blood pressure and heart disease. Then his doctor told him about the Sarasota Memorial Bariatric and Metabolic Health Center. Today, Big Dog is back at the front of the pack, with a healthy heart and the horizon’s promise ahead.
