John D. Nora, MD, FACS
Dr. Nora, who has served the Sarasota patient community since 1989, joined the Sarasota Memorial Hospital bariatric surgery team in 2007. Board certified in general surgery, Dr. Nora also has extensive training in critical care and vascular surgery, and is a former chief of general and vascular surgery at Sarasota Memorial Hospital.
His surgical expertise covers all aspects of general surgery, including laparoscopic and robotic bariatric procedures, which allow for shorter hospital stays and faster recovery time. Dr. Nora is committed to helping patients reduce their obesity-related health conditions and get their lives back.
